Well, last month that Pennsylvania groundhog said six additional winter months were coming.  However, our very own ‘Chucktown Chuck’ told our Wild Dunes Real Estate team that regardless of the weather there’s always lots of activities in and around our wonderful Charleston, SC locale.

6   Guest Artist Series : Eduardo Monteiro  –  The Charleston Academy of Music presents one of Brazil’s leading pianists at the Spoleto Festival USA.  A prize winner in international competitions, Mr. Monteiro will be performing a variety of works by Beethoven, Villa-Lobos, Debussy and Liszt  –  WEBSITE

17 – 21   Charleston Fashion Week  –  Showcasing emerging designer and model talent across the East Coast, this event has fast become one of the premier fashion weeks in North America.  This five-night celebration in downtown Charleston’s Marion Square , this true multimedia event presents high-end runway shows, interactive entertainment, and chic after-parties  –  WEBSITE


22   Charleston Bed Race  –  Watch or participate the as the Charleston community comes together by racing beds to raise money for SC children who are battling cancer.  A parade of decorated beds and two-block races held in time-trial pairings will be held at Blackbaud Stadium, as will the award  –  WEBSITE


23   ‘NeedToBreathe’ Classic Golf Tournament  –  Partnering with the Charleston-based Grammy Award-nominated rock-n-roll band of the same name, this tournament brings together musicians, pro athletes and other celebrities for a day of golf and an evening of music.  Proceeds benefit the nonprofit palmetto medical Initiative in its efforts to bring quality health care to countries around the world  –  WEBSITE
